Porcelain tiles has water absorption rate of less than 0.5 %. Porcelain tiles can either be glazed or unglazed. This type of tiles are for floors and walls.

Types of Porcelain Tile:

Full Body:

It made with limited number of select materials, blended, pressed and also fired to get through body porcelain tiles.

Advantage:

It has good technical performance that makes the product more suitable for heavy commercial use.

Disadvantage:

It has no original color effect

Repetitive look

It doesn’t have the natural look of real stone

Multiple Loading:

Materials of multiple loading porcelain tiles are pressed twice.

This type of porcelain tiles made with limited numbers of colored materials and no glaze.

Standard & Colored Body Glazed Porcelain:

This type of porcelain tiles made with clay and other material that are blended and pressed in order to create the texture.

Advantage:

It has an appealing look and affordable prices

Disadvantage:

Detailing loses definition when the tiles are structured as a result of the limits of the technology used when decorating uneven surfaces. It also not suitable for use in high-traffic areas.

Twin Pressed:

Twin pressed porcelain tile has innovative technology for manufacturing. It has different colored minerals and pre compacted by a first light weight press.

Advantages:

It has highest technical performance

Very appealing

Non-repetitive look

Second pressing turns flat decorations into a 3D look by compacting the glaze and body together

Ideal for residential and commercial applications

Disadvantages:

High cost
